Change Management

Change management includes people, processes and tools for managing change at an organisational level. These 3 elements must include a structured approach that can be used to effectively transition systems, process, groups or organisations through change, and underpinned by a continuous improvement programme. When combined with an understanding of individual change management, these tools provide a framework for managing the people side of change.

People who are confronted by change will experience a form of culture-shock as established patterns of work life are altered, or viewed by people as being threatened. Employees will typically experience a form of "grief" or loss.

Trisight, when managing change programmes use a change management model to assess the following attributes; visibility, consistency, ROI, communications, customer service and efficiency. In parallel a continuous improvement programme is implemented to manage and monitor change initiatives.

"You can bring the change about yourself or it can come in ways that give you little choice about its what, when, and how. Fighting against change can slow it down or divert it, but it won't stop it. If you wish to succeed in this rapidly changing world you must learn to look on change as a friend - one who presents you with an opportunity for growth and improvement."
